WE WILL BE USING THE SOUTH TRACK ENTRANCE FOR THIS WEEKEND. IT WILL BRING YOU AROUND THE BACK SIDE OF THE TRACK TO THE PIT ENTRY BUILDING. THERE IS NO MOTOCROSS THIS WEEKEND. EVERYONE THAT ENTERS THE COMPLEX WILL HAVE TO SIGN A WAVER. General admission will allow everyone into the pits AFTER PAYING YOU WILL RECEIVE A WRIST BAND. (UNDER 8 YRS NO CHARGE) $5.00 GENERAL ADMISSION FOR SATURDAY ONLY $15.00 FOR A 2 DAY PASS.....DON'T LOSE YOUR WRIST BAND $10.00 FOR SUNDAY RACEDAY (only sold on raceday) HAULER DRIVERS....STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE TO KEEP THE LINE MOVING. BY TOM AMES Freedom, NY – April 16, 2012 – Looks a little cloudy outside? Smell some dampness in the air? Its race day and you want to get to the track but it’s a long drive with the kids. The phone lines are all tied up and you need to know right now, is there racing? What can you do? If you are a registered user with RainedOut.com you would already know! By providing a cell phone number, or e-mail address if just as active on-line, messages will be transmitted immediately to wherever you are. No more calling the cancellation line or guessing on track conditions from miles away, you will be automatically alerted with the status of weather whenever the forecast is questionable. For first time users, just log into http://www.rainedout.com. Once on the homepage type South Arcade Speedway in the box provided at the top and hit Search. Then click South Arcade Speedway under Preferred Results, enter either a 10-digit phone number or e-mail address and select “Start Signup” to begin. A cell phone text or e-mail message will be received momentarily, offering a validation code that needs to be typed in to complete the registration. To subscribe directly using your cell phone, type sas12 in the message box then send the text to 84483 and a note will be received shortly after confirming registration. That is complete and now your all set to go racing!! First devised by a soccer coach one fall morning when gray skies hovered overhead, RainedOut™ gained instant credibility as a timely means of communication to get out game cancellation information. It became a proven method that didn't require rapid speed dials, web page refreshes or even phone tree exercises, while relieving the constant frustration of calling a hotline answering machine time after time. FORESTVILLE - Burning Asphalt Sauces has announced that they have entered into a partnership with South Arcade Speedway. The partnership will allow for the local specialty food company to continue expanding their marketing presence with racing related venues.
This year, South Arcade Speedway located in Arcade NY has shifted their focus to motorcycle racing, particularly oval flat track, TT and Motocross.
The logistics of marketing the BAS Food Group brands with the racetrack will be coordinated by Burning Asphalt Sauces' Trade Show and Event Division headed by Ellen Budish. The company has had several marketing partnerships with various auto racing venues, but this is the first venture into motorcycle racing.
"We are very excited to have partnered with South Arcade Speedway and their committed owner and management team. To be able to help promote motorcycle racing in our area, and tie in our brands in a positive manner, fits our commitment to community. Our area was in need for an organized place for our youth to participate in motorcycle sports. South Arcade Speedway fulfills that need," Jeffrey Furash, President/CEO of BAS Food Group, said.
The racing season at South Arcade Speedway starts on April 29 and runs through October 28. One of the highlights of the season will be on August 5 when the American Historic Motorcycle Racing Association comes to the track. The group is the largest vintage racing group in North America. Another vintage event which Burning Asphalt Sauces has been involved with is the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix Festival which will take place on September 7 in Watkins Glen.
Burning Asphalt Sauces produces and distributes a variety of specialty gourmet foods from barbecue sauces to a full line of Italian sauces.
They also offer rubs, seasonings and snacks. Their most recent product launch is their Twisted Vine Gardens Gluten-Free line. The products can be found in many grocery stores, specialty shops, and wineries throughout the region and nationally. The company continues to donate a percentage of profits of all items sold to their not-for-profit "Sauces For Soldiers" program. Western New York Racing is proud to announce the start of our WNY Motocross Hall of Fame honoring and recognize people who helped to advance the sport of Motocross throughout our region.
Every progression in the sport is owed a debt to the roots and foundation, and we honored five past racers that made significant contributions locally to the sport we all love. The inaugural class will consist of five pioneering racers from the 60's-70's era and were inducted in the 2010 banquet on January 15th 2011.
